Hello! I'm CatCouch. I'm working on transitioning my art from a hobby to a career! There will be furry art. :3
With Tumblr threatening my ability to post fox butts, I have decided to try out Newgrounds! I have so many art accounts I'm juggling so what's one more? :D

About the multiple versions thing btw: it's fine to do that... I think. I'm not sure how many people do, but I do stumble upon alternate versions every once in a while. No idea in regarding to naming either, but maybe just differentiating between them somewhat? Only example I can remember was a futa alternation with a added 'futa' in the title, but yeah, you get the point right. ;) Just something so it's not the same thing. Clothed. Alt. V2. Something like that?
Naming vaguely confusingt since all the sites I'm on display names differently. Some I put the differences up front since the site may cut the back of a long title off. That Fox Pile piece has a looong name~
I just want to make sure it's not frowned upon to post 2 or 3 versions (don't want it to look like spam and get bad ratings or something). I have a lot of art that flows in a sequence (the Fox Pile has 8 versions) and sites like Twitter and Tumblr work perfectly for that.
Aha. Yeah the names do get cut off here too depending on where they're shown, but since thumbs (the main links, everywhere) don't show titles at all you still have to click first to see the title,which come to think of it makes this whole alternate name thing kinda unnecessary hmmm... for propriety? Anyway seems like either way will work fine.
Yeah a small amount of versions is definitely OK. Since everything you submit for the Portal appears in the main feed all too many almost identical ones might come across as spammy, but as for what you put on your profile: no limits whatsoever. There's plenty of comics too so sequences are fine. Yeah, Tumblr and Twitter are more like a steady stream of activity; this is a bit more like a showcase I guess.
I'll try adding "v1" and "v2" to the titles of multiple pieces! I almost always have 2-3 main versions I post out of sequences that can be, like 20 or more. It's usually a clothed/nude/explicit. Something like that. If I have too many but they seem necessary to post I can just not click the public button.
